Les Diablerets glacier uplift information for a walking holiday
Glacier uplift by the Cabane to Glacier cable car is open to walkers normally from early June to late July. Park at the Col du Pillon car park and walk back direct from Cabane or for a challenge along the ridge from Cabane to Oldenegg then down to Reuch and back up the valley.
Villars uplift information for a walking holiday
The mountain train runs all year from Gryon to Barboleusaz to Villars and then on to Bretaye altitude 1800 metres where there are several easy and spectacular routes back. There are picnic spot on the shores of Lac des Chavonnes.
Gryon Barboleusaz uplift information for a walking holiday
The Barboleusaz to Les Chaux telecabine (ski map) altitude 1750 metres is available for free to walkers staying in the area in July, August, September and October. There are two main routes back. The first up to Chaux Ronde then along the exciting ridge of Rochers du Van and down to the ancient village of Taveyanne with restaurant (there is an easy route by mountain track). The second by a gentle path to Solalex with restaurant, a hamlet in the valley below the Les Diablerets glacier.
